If you told me a few years ago that I'd be starting my own production company fresh out of college, I'd laugh in your face.
CUT TO: June 2021 - CONTINUOUS. Nerys decides to incorporate!
What I'd thought was a way to grab some pocket change in undergrad had just turned into a creative business endeavor fueled by my passions. I started off filming weddings, saving up for my own equipment along the way and expanding my collection to suiting my own hub ... minus the studio space for now. Eventually, I began producing my own side projects ...
But I had the urge to do SO MUCH MORE!
Everything I'd cultivated in college, my love for cinematography and editing down to my producing and directing skills, all came to my aid in building this company: Book Two Productions LLC (B2P).
I wanted to create a collective, producing the next chapter of creativity in visual media through cinematic storytelling and content creation. Moreover, as a young BIPOC female filmmaker, I needed to help this next generation of creatives tell the stories otherwise untold as my mentors have helped me do.
So here I am on a mission to do exactly that.
We may be young, but I'll tell you: we are FIERCE.
